Illustrative hammer dimensions: L1 = overall length, L2 = head length, D = striking head diameter.

Features

Steel shot inside the hollow head reduces rebound after impact, providing a controlled dead blow. Replaceable polyamide striking faces allow softer contact with the workpiece. Suitability for a particular surface depends on its material and the working conditions.

The hammer has a steel tube shaft and plastic grip. KS Tools describes the construction as splinter-proof and wear-resistant. The shaft is not replaceable; the striking faces are replaceable.

Applications

For professional workshop use in vehicle servicing, bodywork, assembly and industrial maintenance. Suitable for controlled seating or freeing of parts where a soft-faced strike with reduced rebound is required.

Choose lighter models for finer work and heavier models when greater impact is needed. Match the force of the strike to the workpiece and operation.

Benefits

  • Dead blow action from steel shot in the hollow head.
  • Four total weights: 500, 600, 1200 and 1600 g.
  • Replaceable polyamide striking faces.
  • Steel shaft and plastic grip.
  • L1, L2 and D dimensions explained in the table and drawing.

Technical specifications

Dimensions and total weights are taken from the KS Tools variant table. L1 is the overall hammer length, L2 the head length and D the striking face diameter. Construction comprises a steel tube shaft, plastic grip, steel shot in the hollow head and replaceable polyamide striking faces.

The photograph and drawing illustrate the series; consult the table for the dimensions of each selected model.
